I am looking for a good load for Berger 115 VLD bullets with RL 22 or H4831. So far I have only tried the 100gr Sierra Gamekings and the RL 22 had a lot better groups.

Try 49gr of IMR-4350 with the 115s and seat the long.

What primers do you like better? I have both CCI and Federal.

This is the load I use. It worked quite well on the single deer I've tried it on.

The Berger 115 VLD is a great bullet. I'm shooting them out of a 26" Cooper Model 22, WW brass and Federal 215M primers. 59gr of Ramshot Magnum gets me an average of 3075fps. 5, 3 shot groups ran from .328 to .578. I could get a little more speed out of it but groups started to deteriorate. That same load averages .782 at 3010fps out of my 24" Kimber 8400 Montana.
