In this day of primer shortages (in Canada) I lucked into 3,000 CCI 34's. In the heat scale are these any warmer than standard CCI 200's? Thanks in advance for your advice.

I use them in all my magnum rifles with great results! 7mmRM, 300WM, .338WM, .375 H&H AI & .416 Ruger. I started using them when I couldn't get CCI LR Mag. primers. Hip

They "should" have same flash value as a 200 as they were designed for 7.62 NATO. That is how I have used them. If you are skeptical just work up your load as usual and they will work great. AK-47 The only Communist Idea that Liberals don't like.

I use #34’s for my Garand with the same load as my WLR primers and there is no difference that I can tell, velocity or pressure wise. Shoot Safe, Mike NRA Endowment Member

My #14 Speer manual says #34s are equivalent to CCI #250 LR magnum primers. #41 are the equivalent to CCI #450 SR magnum primers. DoD qualified will be "hotter' (magnum) for reliable ignition in extreme cold conditions. CCI #41, #34 an #35 are DoD qualified according to Speer #14 reloading manual. Seems like they'd know as they're both owned by the same conglomerate.
