A friend of mine is in a bit of a pinch. He has Hornady dies for his 300 wsm
but is unable to find a shell holder. Has two on back order from different
companies. Will another cal. shell holder fit the wsm casing and will it harm
to mix and match if he finds one from another company besides Hornady?
I told him I would run it by the folks on this board, maybe someone else
has had the same problem. (Shellholders should be part of the die package)

A friend of mine is using an RCBS # 4 with only very minor alteration to it. Try Graf and Sons. I bet they have the RCBS # 43 which is the proper one.

The WSM is too tight in my old RCBS #4 but I found that the Lee equivalent works fine so that's what I am using.

I see #43's for sale at a local shop here.
