loaded up some 22 ppc this weekend and i ran out of sierra 50 gr bullets that i had that were price marked at $5.50, not i gotta use the expensive stuff that are marked at $7.25. damn stuff is getting out of hand

OMG! What will you do when you run out of the 7.25 stuff? Use some 10.00 stuff.

I've got several boxes of bullet marked at less than $5.00 that are now $20 or better to replace. Of course, when I bought them I was making $2.25 per hour, so the $20 bullets today are a hell of a lot cheaper to me.

My state-of-the-art 1965 Leupold Vari-X cost me $65 from a mail order discount house. That's $437 in today's money according to the website http://www.westegg.com/inflation/. You can buy a superior Leupold for around $200-275, so both the bullets and the scopes are cheaper today.
