Anyone using the Hornady Cam-Lock case trimmer? If so, any comments?

I already have a Forster, but would like an easier to use shell holder for less demanding uses. I also have a Lyman, but would like to get away from allen wrenches to adjust length.

Thanks,
Jim

JCN,

Thanks for the ultra-rapid response . Can any other brand (RCBS or Lee, etc) of shell holders be used?

I have a Forster. I bought a Hornady a couple years ago, and have not used the Forster since.

I'm at work, and have taken a coffee break since the last time I looked at the unit. I am probably using Redding shell holders because they have a wider opening that makes it easier to slide shells in and out.
If you get the unit be sure and get the power screwdriver attachment.
I am a reloading equipment slut, and have different brands of every tool made, it seems. They all have good and bad points. The RCBS Power Trimmer is convenient, but it flexes at times. The little Lee Trimmer Doofers are nice but soon you have a drawer full of spindles. The Hornady is reasonably quick and precise, but it can be a pain to hold the power screwdriver at the right height and angle. My Gracey trimmers are awesome, but it is a major time waster to set them up for a new caliber, even with the one piece after-market carbide blades. The Forster was hot stuff when I first bought it, but it is a sure route to carpal tunnel syndrome if you try any quantity by hand. I don't remember why I didn't like using it with a power screw driver attachment.
These trimmers all seem to work better if they are bolted to something solid. I have my RCBS on a 4' long piece of 2x10 lumber. I use "C" clamps to fasten the Hornady to a bench when I use it. The Gracey's are in the reloading sepulcher (back bedroom). The Forster is in a box for now.
