Anybody have some feedback on how Wolf primers perform comparatively? | ||

when fired from a slingshot into a concrete wall they might just go off, other than that wolf stuff sucks | |||

They reportedly have thicker cups than most primers normally available in the 'States, which is great for use in guns like Garands which may occasionally suffer from hangfires. Should also be a good feature for any centerfire rifle using a magazine tube feeding device where the bullet of one round may rest on the primer of the next round (such as the Winchester 94, or Marlin models 94, 95 and 336. David Tubb reportedly thinks very highly of them. Until I get some first hand experience with them, that's a good enough recommendation for me. | |||

Good catch, Fred...I did indeed mean slam-fires, not hang-fires. Some days my tongue gets in the way of my eye tooth and I can't see what I'm saying. Thank you for correcting that error. AC My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still. | |||
