I have a shot shell ? for y'all. How much wad pressure should I have in a 12 ga. with 17.5 grains of Red Dot, and 1 ounce of #9 shot. Using a Mec 650 press, and using Winchester AA, Remington STS and Premier hulls. Using this load for skeet and sporting clays, or tring to HA!

Enough to see the indicater move (so you know it's down on the powder). Wad pressure kind of lost it's importance when paper hulls and felt wads went out of fashion.

Using todaY'S ONE PIECE PLASTIC WAD, WAD PRESSURE IS NOT NEEDED EXCEPT TO INSURE THAT THERE'S NO AIR SPACE BETWEEN THE POWDER AND THE WAD.....AS tAILGUNNER HAS SAID.
