Yep, they sealed the deal late last year. "H" says they are going to keep the line. More details here

Hodgdon has own IMR for quite some time now, about a year I think. Hodgdon has stated they have no intention of ceasing production of any of the IMR powders, and that's good news for us that use them. Best wishes.

Did you also know that a vast majority of Hodgdon powders are made by ADI here in Australia.

one can only hope they get rid of those narrow mouth cans ... but please don't mess with the existing product line

Ned, I had to laugh at your comment. I have a good friend of mine who is real upset that Hodgdon is repackaging the IMR powders.

The cans take very little shelf space, hence their use. But, they are more expensive, so plastic is in these days.

Actually, I think the cans are pretty cool. Kind of retro. But, it isn't a big deal for me either way.

agree about the retro look and the storage of the cans...just drives me nuts not being able to get the last bit of powder out. <grin>

I use a can opener on the bottom to get out the last bits.
