I used some Nobel powder that seems to have the same burn rate,faster than IMR4350.I wonder if it is the same as Brig4351?

Yeh, this stuff was made in Scotland,too.Now,if I approach with caution, I have some rough data to work with.

What Nobel powder is it you have. I have a lot of N47 which appears to have a burn rate about H450. Could we have the same stuff?Mark

Yes,that is the one.I am out,but getting a order together.I have a Eddystone '17 sporter that does that one hole thing with it.I find 47N as dirty as H-4350.The price is less than half the clean N-560,though .I think WC852 is the H-450,but I haven't tried it.

I have some of each wc852 and N47. I have been using 852 in my 416Rigby with good results so far. I used them both in 6.5/284 with OK results using light bullets, but they are too fast for 6/284. I got 40# from old Higgensen before he died and will need more shortly.Mark
