My current load is 39.3 grains of RL-15 behind a 140 grain Nosler Partition. Not very fast at only 2558 fps, but pretty darn accurate in my rifle.

I've been using 48g or H414 with the hornady 139grs, this is my metallic silloutte load and tracts perfectly on the ballictic tables for come up/downs at 2900fps. In my vanguard 24" barrel

Like Big Bird said. My 7mm08 is a Rem 700. Nice short little rifle. My favorite for sitting in a tree stand.

120 ballistic tips, 48.5 grains H414. Not super fast, but I'm fine with that.

I am travelling for the last month and so I do not have the exact powder charge... but here is the sumary

150 gr Rem corelokt & AR 2208 (Varget) 2780fps
150 gr TSX BaRNES & ar 2208 - 2820 FPS

I also have a good load with N160 & above bullets.

Both are very accurate and safe in my Kimber Montana.

48 grains of H414 under a 140 grain nosler ballistic tip. Some books say this is well over max. But the hotter I pushed them the more accurate the rifle shot. I am getting about 2800 fps out of a 18 barreled model 7. I get ragged holes for groups. Sighted in at 250 and I am good out to about 350 without any adjustment or hold over. Longest shot I have taken was 310. Hit low lungs deer went about 90 yards. Bullet exited and did plenty of damage.

42gr AR2208 (Varget I believe) with either 140gr Nosler Balistic tips or Acubonds, very accurate.

In a number of Rem 700's a bud of mine 's fav. load is with IMR 4350 powder and the Speer 145gr bullet, a moose and elk killer and a great grouper at distance, but nothing special on paper at 100 yards. FS
