Why do you guys run back and forth between the websites? Just curious, I know some of us AR posters are kicked out from the Long Range Hunting site-no trial, hung before tried. sure-shot

I don't think the LRH site has kicked anyone out without notice. As far as I know 3 folks may have been removed.

At the LRH site the registration clearly states the "rules", violate the rules and you're going to be reminded and the post perhaps removed. Violate several times and you're probably removed.

Several folks have not cared too much for these "rules" and the enforcement of same, and have simply drifted out or left in a huff... I wouldn't call that being 'kicked out'.

LRH is a privately owned site, it's intent is to discuss equipment, techniques and methods without the interference of ethics.

I'd say overall, it's a very friendly and polite board. We "argue" over things like Ballistic Coefficients, barrel length, reticle styles and shooting techniques. We don't get into heated discussions over what's hunting and what's not, what's ethical and what's not.

It's more a technical board... A bit like going to a Specialist vice a General Practitioner.

I come to Saeed's site for the varied discussions and to speak on items and issues with which I have first hand knowledge.

One should never stop learning.

I don't know if I got kicked out but I tried to post there a couple mos ago and the posting never came up. I then read a thread over there about how some AR were already kicked out as potential troublemakers. Maybe your server was down when I tried to post, I thought maybe I got booted because I posted about some gunrags controversial choice of bullets about a year ago here on AR(William Tibbe imposter messed that one up!). I'll try to post again on long range sometime. By the way I'm there to learn. Thanks, sure-shot

I don't know if there's a glitch or not but it's highly improbable that you were removed without some warning.

I don't believe anyone has been removed without a warning.
