| Looks like a job for someone with a primer pocket reamer.

| The primer pocket is .010 greater than the primer. |

| Primer pocket dimensions and tolerances: Small Pistol: Diameter Min = 0.1730, Diameter Max = 0.1745 Large Pistol: Diameter Min = 0.2085, Diameter Max = 0.2100 I measured a small rifle primer, they are the same size as the small pistol primers, and it measured 0.175. If the primer pocket is already @ 0.200 then you have to ream out the pockets to large pistol size and use large pistol primers. What are you using to measure the primers and primer pockets?

| In my experience... S&B primer pockets were always SMALL and their brand primers were always oversized. I throw S&B 45acp cases away and I don't use S&B primer in the progressive press.
Your findings are opposite of what I've seen over the years. I'm going to mic the S&B primers that i have now. |

| yes it is over sized(0.200). I am measuring with a very good set of Vernier calipers. I am a machinist, know how to measure a primer pocket. |

| It sounds like you have under sized large pistol primer pockets.

| These primer pockets are nowhere near a large primer ID. |

| I tried a W-W non toxic case with small primer pocket with Federal 100 small pistol primer which fits perfectly, therefore the Selliotte and Boleh cases must have had a crimped small pistol primer that came off with primer when we de-capped the primers. Please excuse my spelling of S & B. |
