I got one a few days ago. I've never had another auto dispenser, so I can't compare, but I've been happy with it so far. It does not alarm for a charge .1 gr over, but does for .2. I was running 45.0 grains of Varget, and would get .2 or more over maybe once every ten rounds or so. It's fast. By the time I charge a case, seat a bullet and put it in the box, the next charge is ready most of the time.

The scale is very consistent. It seems to hold zero very well. It has agreed with my beam scale within .1 every time I've checked. I left it on for a few hours without any change in results.

The overcharges are annoying, I'd like to reduce those. I dump back all the .1 overcharges too, just because I'm like that, so that slows me down. I've only used it with Varget so far, I'd expect fewer overcharges with a finer powder. The Varget tends to stack up at the end of the tube and the trickle will sometimes drop .2 or .3 at once and cause those overcharges.

Nice time saving tool though, much faster than weighing them by hand.

With all due respect folks..... a .1 or even a .2 grain for a rifle charge is a very fine accuracy record.....I'd not complain on it ever.

I did weigh every charge on my beam scale for the first 25 or so, then went to every fifth charge. 45.0 on the Hornady was closer to 45.1 on the beam scale, but it was always 45.1.

Vapodog: I know dumping the .1's back is silly. It seems Hornady believes the same since it doesn't warn you about .1 over. I just get really picky when I get north of published loads.
