I am trying to reload my cz 527 .22 hornet with 40 gr. V-MAX bullets. The bullet needs to be seated deep in order to fit in the clip, the problem is that where the bullet starts to taper the end of case neck would not touch the bullet. Anyone else have this problem? What did you do in order to correct this? Everything else is in spec according to my manual. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks. Chris

Yes that is my only complaint with the CZ 527. Seating the bullets just shy of the lands essentially reduces the rifle to a single shot.

Nosler discusses the length of magazine boxes being too short for the sharp taper on B.T.'s in their reloading manual, in fact, loads for B.T.'s aren't even shown. They recommend, if you want to use B.T.'s, loading like a single shot, otherwise use the 45 gr. Hornet Partition.
