I was wondering how much accuracy one can typically gain by setting up their dies to head space off the shoulder on belted mag handloads

in times when one needs a rifle, he tends to need it very badly.....PHC

I don't know if there is any "Proof" that the accuracy will suffer or gain but, the brass will sure last longer.

Hey CC, I P-FLR all my bottleneck cartridges because I'm not Hunting in what is normally considered Dangerous Game country.

About every 5 years or so I'll run a Blind Comparison Test with P-FLRed cases vs. Neck Sized Cases. So far, the P-FLR has always shot better "for me" in my rifles. Someone else doing the same Test might have totally different results, but I doubt it.

No idea how much difference there is between FLR(Headspace off the Belt) and good old P-FLR. I have seen some posts by folks who claim their very best groups always come with brand new cases. I have no reason to think they were pulling a clinton on us, but that does seem quite strange to me.

But, I have no idea how much better P-FLR shoots in my rifles, because that is what I use 99.9% of the time. I just proved it to myself many years ago.

Best of luck to you.

Don't know about accuracy so much, but it sure extends the life of your brass!
