I have a bag of bullets that were in some other items I purchased a while back, I can't ID for sure.
Bag says: (bag was open when purchased)
Cabela's Remington 8mm 185 Gr, PSPCL W/C Bullet

By my mesurements it mic out at 8.21mm or 0.32"
weight confirmed at 185 Gr.

It was in with some 8mm Mauser stuff but don't think it is 8mm Mauser.

What do you think they are?

Sounds to me like it is a standard Remington PSCL 185 grain bullet. They sold those in bulk for a while. They were intended for use in the 8mm Remington Magnum.

Cabela's just repackaged them and sold them at a good price. They will work in any 8mm rifle, but they might not expand well at low velocities.

Same bullet is sold by Midsouth Shooters Supply, currently listed for 25.29 in the 2010 catalog.
