I was wanting to find a all around powder for my .308 .25-06 .270 and .222 shoots great in all others except .222 May have to try something differnt. I'm using 24.5 gr.of Varget with 55gr. vmaxs, haven't chronoed but book says about 3100fps. Groups open up much more than my Remington factory loads. Just wondering if any of you had success with varget and .222 reloads.

tried varget in my tikka 222 a compressed load of 25 grains, it grouped ok at around .753 but decided to try h322 and never looked back.

shoots like factory junk in my shilen...

I use only H222 in mine also.
