76 gr (max) H4831 got for 3050-3100 fps in a 24" tube. Accuracy is 2" at 300 yards. YMMV

Thank you, POP. Just what I figured. This should be a good load if it is accurate out of my rifle. I will give it a try ! I just wish the Nosler brass had more internal volume. The box that I was sent was excellent. I am trying to find a replacement for the Lapua brass that I was using. The .300 Win. was discontinued.

80 gr H-1000 .6 @ 100 , 2" @ 300 My barrel doesn't get alot of the advertised velocities that I read from time to time. I am right at 2920-2940 with this according to my chrono. I would use this load exclusively but my rifle does shoot the 200 gr Accubond just a bit better and I like them better in the wind.

Using Winchester brass instead, I got 77 g. of H4831 at 3050 fps out of a 26 inch tube with wonderful accuracy.

A great combo for long range shooting on big deer and great for elk. We taken 6 bulls over a couple of years in our family at ranges from around 35 yards to around 400 with splendid results.

I use R-P brass and I have had good luck with it. I neck size with a Lee collet die and bump the shoulder back when I need to. I was going to try and locate some Lapua brass but the R-P is doing just fine. Cheaper too.

Thanks to all for the responses.
Chain, the reason for going to the Nosler brass is because the .300 Lapua has been discontinued. The Nosler brass that I received seems just as good but doesn't have the capacity of the Lapua. once fired Nosler has around 88.6 grs. of water and the Lapua has 94.2 from my chamber. With the long Accubond it cuts down the powder volume. Might have to try Winchester again and sort.

Jim, my favorite load is 83 grs. of R25 in a 26.5" barrel. I'm getting ~3300 fps with the 180 Accubond - deadly on elk. This is hot work up to it.

In my A-Bolt .300 WM, I load Winchester Brass, WLRM primer, 76.5 gr. of H-4831sc with the Nosler Accubond 180gr. bullet.

Right around 3100fps and <MOA accuracy

Works great with my Leupold VX11 scope on 18 power with the LRV duplex. When sighted in at 300, all the other aimpoints out to 600 (top of the picket) are dead on.
