Does anyone have current data / newer powder loading information on the 7IHMSA? I am picking up a wichita mk-40 soon and I will be needing some loading data to start from. I am currently thinking of trying some loads using Varget and SR4759 (I use both of them in my 7BR)

Thanks!

In my XP rechambered by IHMSA to 7mm International / 7mm IHMSA from 7BR I'm shooting the below load all the way through from chickens to rams....I assume your wanting a silhouette load based on your handle.

It's a very accurate load in my gun and has accounted for numerous 40x40's as well as two first place trophies in the past two years at the Region 4 Championship Match, with a 60x60 this year.

Winch. 300 Savage brass...130gr Speer BT #1624...Winch. WLR primers...34.5grs of IMR4895...OAL 2.700".

Thanks guys for the replys. IKE, have you found a problem with bullets blowing up on the steel and not transferring enough energy to take them? I would encounter it in my 7-08 on occasion even with premium bullets. Any realworld velocity information you can share?

I'm moving the 130's along right at 2250fps and I've had no problem whatsoever with them not offering enough "dwell time" on any of the targets to not topple them.....I'd have changed my load if I had.
