Ran across a couple pieces of brass today and both are 38-55's but they are quite different in size and shape. Both are stamped 38-55 but the smaller headed one has WIN and WRA. The larger of the two just has UMC on the headstamp. The larger one has a shoulder, although very slight and the other one is pretty much a straight wall case. Any help would be appreciated!

Are you sure that one is not headstamped 38-56 ? Some dimensions (rim diameter, case length, etc) would help. Also, the full headstamp.
