Thus far I've mostly been using Varget (2208) in my 243s. Does anyone have any experience with Benchmark, the 243, and projectiles of 70 grains and less?

John, I've always found H4350 "best" with 70 and 75 gr. bullets in the 243. With the 70's I get 3,550 fps in my 22" bbl. Varget has proven slower and less accurate in my rifle.

It's just a case of what's available Brad. The ADI family of powders is readily available in Australia, whereas many of the others aren't. The one you mention is rougly equivalent to 2209, which I use from 75 and up. I was just thinking of trying a faster powder for the light stuff.
