curious. my friend just bought a tikka t3 varminter chambered in the 22-250 rem, and while reading manual, discovered in fine print that the warranty becomes null and void if using anything other than factory loaded ammunition. this begs the question - do other companys employ the same policy? i thought this was unique, maybe i'm wrong. anybody got any insight?

You will find that on the bottom of almost every firearm manual... It's "lawyer talk"...

HI, I am lawyer and I recommend you to not mention reloading if you need warranty. Just don´t talk about it and nobody can find out that you used reloaded ammo, if you don´t blow up your rifle. But it happened also with factory ammo..... so......:-)
