Adjusting bullet seating die

Hi- I have a set of .222 Rem Hollywood Gun Shop dies, but don't have the instructions. Does anyone know where I could find instructions (I would think most calibers would be the same as far as adjustments go)?
If not, would anyone have suggestions how to set the bullet seater die. Most other manufacture's dies I've used or read about say run the ram with a shell all the way up, tighten the seating die until it hits the casing, back out one turn, then adjust the bullet seating rod. When I do this I have the bullet seating rod turn in almost the whole way. Very little adjustment left. This gives me a OAL of around 2.19. My manuals say 2.13" OAL for .222 Rem, I really don't know if this die would go down that low.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I only back out 1/2 turn? Or not back off the die at all after it hits the casing?
Helpful comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Never mind, I don't know what I was reading, but I think the setting is run the die down til it hits then back out 1/8 turn for no crimp and turn in 1/8 turn for a crimp. Sorry.

It depends if the die has a crimp shoulder.
If ithe ide does not have the crimp shoulder it probably can be adjusted to touch the shell holder. If it does have a crimp shoulder it can be adjusted to just touch the case and then back off slightly.

1.First make sure your cases are uniform length.
2.Put a case in the press and run the ram all the way up.
3. Back out the seater stem on the die.
4. Install the die into the press and run it down until the die hits the shell holder or touches the case with the case mouth.
5. If it touches the case mouth back it up slightly maybe one 1/16 of a turn.
6. Lock the lock ring on the die body.
7. Complete the seating OAL with the seater stem adjustment.
