i'd say early 1980''s to mid-1980''s yeah its been a while. pop you out there? heck their btip replaced their solid base bullet!

the have been 'beefed up' since they first came out have they not? dont they now have a slightly thicker jacket?

Paul, from what I've read, within each caliber they get tougher as the weight increases.
