7mm Rem Mag and RL-22

Hey all! Brand new to the forum.
I have had several 7 mags in the past, and currently shooting a Browning Xbolt 7 mag.
I dearly love the Hornady 162 grain ELDX, and have been running it over a 4831 load.
I bought some RL22, and want to experiment. I briefly tried it last year and didn’t like it. Nearly sure my 64 grain charge wasn’t enough to judge it. Anyone run RL22? And if so, would you mind sharing intel? Thanks!

Natchez had some for sale a week or so ago! I bought 2 lbs. each of Rl 15,17,19 and 22. $50.00 + a lb.

Tou gotta keep your eyes open! I won't go to any of the sites that you bid for stuff or people are selling it, but I check about 5 sites 2 times a day when I need stuff.

I use RL22 in my 7mm RM for 140 Accubonds and Swift A Frame 160s. Works well for both and is easier to work with than some of the stick powders.

I like most RL powder as it meters so well and speeds up the process...

POPS 66 grn load is over what most books show as max. But, I have used it too, with no pressure issues. Your rifle may/will be differant.
I got better accuracy with H1000 and IMR 7828, all with the same 3000+ fps.
