Does anyone have a ballistics program that will run bulet drops @ ranges based on muzzle velocity? I have a load that is very accurate & reads 2910 fps on my buddies crony. I have it sighted to hit dead on at 200 yards. It is just about 2" high at 100 yards. What would the calculated drops be at 300 yards & 400 yards? And for a sighter to check scope after I get off plane, where would it be at 25 yards? Thanks!

Assuming that your using a 200 gr. Partition at that muzzle velocity your bullet will drop about 7"@300 yds. and 20"@400 yds. Here is an online ballistics calculator that I use. JBM Ballistics

Thanks! I have been able to shoot out to 300 yards but do not have a local range longer than that. At 300 yards I am getting 6 1/2" of drop. It helps having some idea of what to expect at 400 yards. The calculations sem close enough to what I have been seeing out to 300 yards to use as a base line. Next stop...COLORADO! I leave in two days. Hope to run into an elk while walking, hiking & climbing with my rifle LOL.
