I see bulk boxes of once fired range pickups in .223 & .308 (from Midway, etc) but not 30.06.

Do these exist in bulk anymore?

Go to this site; http://www.hi-techammo.com and scroll down for brass. I just ordered 200pc. virgin .30-06 LC match brass with an inert (not crimped) for $12/100 + shipping. The quality is excellent, but the case mouths need to be run over an expander ball and chamfered though.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that site.

I know that 30.06 isn't a popular military round anymore, but someone has to have some once fired range pickups.

I wonder if some 3rd world countries still use the round militarily?

For Used Range 30/06 Brass... but it will be winchester and remington, not Lake City... try www.southernbellebrass.com

I think their price is about $90.00 per thousand or so...It is usually police range brass instead of military....

Thanks for all the suggestions.

My Madsen shoots pretty well on the LC brass, plus I just bought a primer pocket swager(?) and wanted to load some old military brass.

Always gotta be foolin' around with something!
