I e-mailed hogdon about load data for 5010 after I bought a lb. They didn't email back. If you go to their website and study some big calibers like 7 stw etc. you will find a little of it listed.

THESE ARE MY OPINIONS--NOT ADVICE FOR YOU BUT.....

It is quite a bit slower than h1000 so you should be able to start with max loads of h1000 and chrono up from theRE. I don't think you're gonna get enough powder into the case to get yourself up to max speed because it is so big and course.

Maybe someone else can give you more specific info but this would be my generalizations.

RETRACTION!!--I just looked at quick load--it doesn't have the ability to work with h5010 but it does with h50bmg.

h5010 is faster than h50bmg.

According to quickload you COULD GET ENOUGH H 50BMG INTO A CASE TO GET MAX PRESSURE.

therefore it would appear that h5010 could also.

Please be careful working up!

5010 is not really a suitable powder for that caliber.
