Has anyone else been using the "Remind Me" button in order to get the "Product Notification" emails from MidwayUSA?

I've been trying to replenish my primer selection (like everyone else right now) and all I can do is laugh at how fast stuff goes.

For example, today I happen to been sitting at my computer when the message comes up that some particular primers have arrived. I immediately clicked on the link and it showed they were available. But by the time I tried to add them to my shopping cart, POOOOF!! Gone! Haha

These are great times we are living in. Has anyone noticed if the frenzy is letting up yet?

Yes but the primers where sold out by the time I ordered. I placed an order at Grafs, they put it on back order and i got the primers about 1 month later.

Yep, I use the "reminders" from several dealers. Until things ease up a bit, you are best to call them directly as soon as you get the e-mail. Midway in particular said that is about the only way to get the "hot stuff". You are also better off back ordering what you want. Those orders are filled first. I use Graf first whenever I can.

I realize that if you're out of primers or powder then you have to have some to keep reloading but if you can just hold on for a month or three I'm pretty sure that this situation will ease up when the hoarders finally realize that most people won't use 100,000 primers ever. I'd be glad to share what I've got for someone who is really jammed, since I'm mostly shooting factory right now (hoard of cheap factory ammo bought over the years) but the shipping fees take that option off the table. I understand that Carter's in Houston is getting regular shipments of primers pretty often, if they're getting them, others won't be far behind.

I use Grafs. I have been very happy with them.

I would prefer you to continue to use anyone else so as not to impede my future orders from Grafs. hilbily

If it's a product in high demand that allows back ordering, the "Remind Me" button is all but useless because the product will come in, a "Remind Me" notice will go out to you, then it will automatically show "Out Of Stock" because after the back orders are filled the supply is exhausted. You then need to start over. Bill T.

I have gotten several components in the past few weeks from the "Remind Me" buttons. In each instance, I happened to be at my computer when the e-mail arrived. I called the vendors, Natchez-Graf's-Midway, and successfully placed my order.

It is getting better.........

That is the key. You then have a chance if you jump on it fast. Bill T.

Just go to Grafs
place a standing order. It will be filled eventually and you'll get your primers. That's how I ordered 5000 Federal 215Ms. I've used the same technique to order bullets. No more worrying about getting there before they are all gone. Grafs will fill the order when supplies allows!

I use it some times, but haven't for primers.

Went to a basic pistol class today, and they had plenty in the store.
