The last two companies that loaded it was RWS and Norma...not sure if they still do.

Brass is still available from Norma, and bullets are available from Hornady.

(Loading data, naturally, is available on my reloading pages...)

Thanks, Steve. The guy that needs it is looking for factory loaded ammo, if possible. He's not set up to load it. He found some at Old Western Scrounger, but, it was about $40.00/box of 20, or something like that.

I found the easiest solution is simply to run .25-35 cases into the .22 Savage High-Power full-length sizing die. Check for lengths and trim if necessary. Most of the time, trimming hasn't been necessary: the result has been a virtually perfect .22 HP case.

And, by the way: slug your bore and determine your groove diameter. Mine is .224" --not the .228" often said to be the norm for the .22 HP. Obviously, this makes bullet selection very convenient.....

22H.P. is readily availible through Norma.
They use the metric designation of 5.6x52R Jerry's Sports lists it and the dealer price per. box is $27.33.

Try: www.outdoor-source.com They carry Sellier&Belliot .22 Hi-Power ammuntion. I have purchased some from them in the past and I found it acceptable ammunition. I believe the price was around $12.00 per box.

Thanks for the tip sjc1. I was really looking for Norma stuff, but, the local gun guy said his distributor isn't stocking it. Of course, at 1/3 the price, S&B may be the way to go.

I can get you Norma at $300 per case, plus shipping. (A case is 10 boxes of 20.)

I do believe that Liberty Shooting Supplies in Oregon can supply you with new brass.
