I don't have a chronograph and was wondering if anyone has chrono'ed this combination.

69gn of 4064 gave me the best accuracy, but then groups started tightening up at 73gn again with no pressure signs.

I'm trying to decide if I should just stick with 69gn or try to dial in at the 73-74gn range for better velocity.

I always go with the accuracy first.

Go buy a chronograph.

According to my QuickLoad 73 is too hot. 69 fills 103.8% of the case and give you 2792 FPS.
I'd stay away from the 73. Just my opine.

67 grains will give you 2720 and fill 100.8% of the case and a safer pressure.

i was going off the old barnes manual and it gave 2678 with 69gn and the 250 X bullet and a max load of 74gn. i didn't start getting compressed loads until 72gn
69 gn was mild recoil and fills about 90% of the case. I should probably just stick with it.
