I’ve been loading the 9mm using mostly Power Pistol, however I have tried Unique and Universal also. Shouldn’t I be able to get a 2 inch group at 25 yards with my Beretta 92FS?
bewildered

I’ve loaded from 4.5 to 6.4 on the P.P. and up to 5.8 on the Unique but still no great groups.
What’s a good powder that isn’t for wimpy target loads I’m using 124 grain HP?
Anybody… with any?

Two inches at 25 yards is pretty good I'd say!

So am I expecting too much from a 5” barrel?

One of the most accurate factory loads for the 9mm was the Hornady load with the 125gr Flat point bullet. I think it was called the Air Force Bullet, back in the day.

You might try to fine a bullet of that configuration.

Also some of the 147gr Flat Point factory loads shoot pretty good in some guns.

Remington used to load a 147gr called the 9MM Luger 147Grain Match MCTC [MATCH] their code #R9MM9.
