Here is mine (Posted in pistol shooting already):

Found another accurate one for S&W 1006.

PMC TC/FMJ 180 grain , exactly 10 grains of VV 3N38 gives 1230 fps @ three feet. Ten chronoed rounds,ES 6 fps. That is SIX. [Big Grin]

Must repeat,3N38 is not listed (yet),this is quite a good velocity already.

I also changed COL to 1.26" (Norma) from the previous 1.255 (Vihtavuori). Fired some 40 rounds at beer cans (empty) from 15 to 40 yards, offhand accuracy is pretty darn good.

No bulging, fired cases and primers look and measure fine.

Try 11.0grs of AA#7 W/200GR should get you 1167 or 11.5grs of HS-7 W/180 will get you close to 1292 thats what I get from my Colt D.E.

Thanks!

How accurate are those loads? Im just starting with 10 mm, more velocity can be achieved with several powders,3N38 has room for more velocity, been there,VV 105 comes to mind to push the envelope some more but this accuracy is unbelievable now.

Gotta find 200 grainers soon... I only have 165, 175 (cast) and 180 at the moment.

I like 180 or 200 gr bullets.
800X for the most powder, but difficult to meter.
Power Pistol next best, but has bright muzzle flash.
Enforcer has low flash and easy to meter.

I could not get mush power before case bulge with a stock Glock 20 barrel, I got an aftermarket barrel and could then go to higher levels.

The web of 10 mm cases is only .180" thick, but some feed ramps intrude .250" into the chamber.

Yep,Clark. The 1006 ramp intrudes a little as well but I have yet to bulge a case.

Gotta shoot this load for a while and see how the brass lasts - well, too much brass gets lost in the range, all too much.

A 200+ grain cast load would be interesting, though.

Winchester has a new 240gr for the 41 mag that should work. I'm getting 1/2 to 3/4 groups at 25 yds with the hotter loads but thats in my D.E.

I have been shooting incremental work up overloads to find the threshold of feed ramp case bulge with STEEL, Blue Dot, Enforcer, N105, 800X, H110, LONGSHOT, and AA#9 with 155, 180, and 200 gr. bullets.

That threshold changes when barrels are changed: different case support.

800X gives the most power.

1) Max book load: 8.7 gr. 800X max IMR, Win 180 gr. JHP, 5", 1.25", 1210 fps, 30 k psi

a) 11 gr. G20 stock barrel, WLP 1.3", 180 gr. FMJ FP .637" bullet length, WLP, tiny bulge, 26% overload

b) 15 gr. G20 BarSto barrel WLP 1.3", 180 gr. FMJ FP .637" bullet length, WLP, ok, case full, no bulge yet, 72% overload

1) Max book load: " 7.8 gr. Hi-Skor" 800-X 200 gr. 1130 fps, 32500 psi

a) 14.2 gr. , G20 BarSto barrel, WLP 1.3", 200 gr. FMJ FP .658" bullet length, small case bulge, must stop, 82% overload
