just got myself a wilson case trimmer and some case holders,

i have a 30.06 AI, do i need a specific case holder for the AI case or will the standard one do the job?

The standard one will not work with the AI version as the taper is fairly critical to holding the case.

AI versions are fairly common so it's likely that Wilson has a case holder with that taper to it.

For the 30-06 AI you will have to have Wilson's custom make one for you.
I just checked their catalog. They don't list a case holder for yours.
