I picked up some XMR 4064 today to try.
How does it compare to IMR 4064?
I don't see much XMR Data. Can I use IMR Data and work up or is XMR totaly different.

Thanks

The Accurate Arms website should answer your questions, but from my last manuals they would seem pretty close, for example, 30-06 180 XMR4064 is 48.5 and from Sierra IMR4064 is 48.8. I use the 4350s interchangeably.

I have used the XMR 4064 first actually, but converted to the IMR version. However, load data seems to be pretty interchangable, just work up near max loads. I find the IMR version a little more pressure forgiving at max loads tho.

However a good handloader should never be dancing in the gray of Max loads. YOU don't gain any thing in ratio to what the risks are.

Cheers and Good shooting

I've used a fair amount of XMR4064 in the 7-08 and 308, and have found it to be pretty darn close to the IMR version, maybe a grain slower, as Steve's chart represents. Its primary benefit, at least to me, is the smaller grain size seems to flow better through the powder measure.
