gh Thanks for the response. Didn't make my self clear, yes I know to back off and work up again. What I was wondering was, did the same powder that worked with an Interlock work with the SST? Dave Super glad to hear your enthusiasm for the SST! | ||

Rifleman I shoot the SST in my 270 with great success (very accurate)and I have heard they perform well on game. Load as you do with the Interlock and you will be fine, start 2grs low. I use H4831sc & IMR4350. | ||

Took a medium sized doe (broadside classic) at 230 long paces and she dropped at the shot. Terminal performance was devestating. Really tore things up. | ||

Used the 7mm 139 gr SST bullet in a 7mm WBY this fall.Muzzle velocity was close to 3400fps from a 26 in barrel.Took a 4 pt buck high in the lungs @250-260 yds.He never took another step. I'll use them again. Looking forward to trying the 154 gr SST. They seem to be hard to find in Canada right now. | |||
