Does anyone know what the suggested sweetspot is for a 7mm Rem. Mag. using 160 gr. bullets. They're not listed on the chart I have. I have an earlier M70 Classic Sporter LTs. Thanks,
John

I don't think you can generalize about a sweet spot for any BOSS caliber. I purchased a Browning .223 varmint model several years ago. I was overwhelmed by the possible load and setting variables, so I set it in the middle and did my load development. I got it down to groups in the 8's and 9's, quite good. THEN I began tweaking the BOSS. Best group to date is .18. It shoots in the 3's and 4's most of the time. That's as good as some custom bench guns!

Thanks for the response. I decided to take the long road by leaving the BOSS on the setting that it was at and experimenting with powder weight and bullet seating depth. My second group went .281. It may have been a fluke, but I'll obviously be testing that one particular load again next weekend.

You'll find that the long road is actually the shorter.
