Using the Sinclair primer pocket uniformer for first time, found that maybe 3% of R-P 6BR brass did not have pocket side walls fully extended, that explains why some times when primer seating, there is that occasional primer that takes more pressure to seat (and I thought it was carbon)--that's the primer being crushed into place. Doubt I'll find any irregularities with Lapua brass. I plan on doing this for all my rifle brass. r in s.

Very worthwhile little tool. I find a lot of primer pockets where the base is not square / not consistent depth.

I run the tool through each case after each firing. The fact that I am still seeing shavings after every shot indicates considerable brass flow in the head area.
