Has anyone noticed the cost of the brass for the WSM and SAUM and the newer super shorts going down a lot? I just bid[and won] three[3] bags of virgin 25 wssm AND the dies[slightly used] for 37.00 on EBay. Hope this doesn`t signify the beginning of the end for these things. Just wondering if anyone noticed.

You must factor in availability also. At first it was hard to find the brass. Now it is readily available. Prices will reflect this.

In reality, some of the "new" cartridges are going to live and some are going to die. I would expect that around 60% will die.

As for price, there are always those out there who have to be the first kid on the block with everything, and they pay the price for this "luxury".

Steve you sure said a mouth full there! Really thinking about going back to the old 30/06 and quit all this dancing around.
