Is the reduced load formula for 4198, the same as 5744 which is 40% of the volume at the bullet line in the case?

Not with a 10-foot pole, sir. (It might work out, but you need actual data. Ask at Cast Bullets and a friend will probably shoot ya a QuickLoad screen snap like when I asked .)

That's the formula for IMR4198 that Seyfried worked out several years ago. It's been used so often and for so long I expect it is rote by now.

I have no experience with 5744.
