Darn Fine Press!! Much nicer than their other cheapy presses, Actually much better than presses costing twice as much IMO.

I love mine, its a stout one for sure. I have heard of some guys saying they wished the lever rod was solid bar instead of hollow pipe but, I've pryed like heck on mine when using collet dies and it's been hanging in there just fine. They must load 50 BMG cause I can't see how you'd bend the handle during normal reloading.

I think I paid alittle over 65 bucks for it shipped from cabelas. They said there wouldn't be any extra shipping to throw a box of Accubonds on the load for just 14.99 a box so, I did.

The priming setup works well on this press.

Good Luck

I have one and love it. Pretty stout press, and you can't beat the price. I think it copares to the Rockchucker by RCBS.

The best move LEE has done in MANY years. I mean I love LEE'S low cost products like the primmer set up, the case trimmer/guage. but the other press's are just SOOO cheap.

I have one Classic Cast press combined with Hornady LnL adaptor set (originaly made for RCBS but it fits) and with Redding dies I have no problem with concentricity.

It is strong, cheap ane works perfect.

I'm pleased with mine so far...I've had it about 4 months. My only quibble is that occasionally primers will bounce our the side of the ram if you don't have the priming arm installed. It beats my old Lyman turret press ANY day!

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

I've had one since they first came out. I'm an inveterate trader, as most guns nuts are, and I like to hit the classifieds and yard sales to buy all the reloading stuff folks who are getting out of shooting have to sell. This keeps me in good trading stock and over the course of 30 years of reloading, I've owned, used and traded nearly every press, scale, trimmer, powder measure, etc know to man. Of all this equipment, I've never slowed down shooting, so I've learned what I like, what works and what I want.
Without going into a lot more detail, I'll say that of ALL the presses I've owned, the Lee Classic Cast is THE best. All presses will reload ammo, but none have all the features of the LCC, in one press. I've traded or sold all the rest and it's the only one on the bench for the last year plus, and it ain't going anywhere. If you need a single stage press, I'd recommend it.
