Nosler's web site has 130 gr .277 and 180 gr .308 solid Base bullets for $9.95 a box of 50. The solid Base id a BT with the lead tip fully formed. They are good for about the same velocity range and perform very well; they just got eclipsed by the BT and AB.

I shoot them out of my .280 and I really like them

I have killed several deer with the 165gr Solid base bullet in my 308 WCF.

It worked great.
