I loaded h-450 in 22/250 with cci mag primers. Many missfires. The powder was hard to get burning. When the bullets were pulled, u could see where the powder started burning and then quit. If i had not seen it i would not beleve it. 243winxb

It thought it was the best powder I ever used in my .338 until I switched to Re22. I haven't tried using Winchester's slow ball powder but it should be fairly close to H450. H450 was taken off the market once before and Hogden brought it back after about 10 years. Maybe they will bring it back again? C.G.B.
