How many times resized is about average case life of a Weatherby caliber?I have 40 .270 Weatherby cases that have been full length re-sized 3 times, and partial sized about a dozen times. This is a lot of sizing of cases as I understand, but they still look great with no signs of problems.

I've found the Wby cases to be excellent, tough and easy to work with.

With my 340 it is not uncommon for me to run them 12/13 times b4 I discard them.

I would think you could average 10 times quite easily if you take care of them and don't blow out the primer pockets.

It's funny that you brought up a 270 in the Weatherby chamber. I was talking to a guy that has one and was complaining about getting poor accuracy. (4 MOA groups) We started asking about the crown condition, etc. until my brother asked how many rounds have you fired through it?

Oh about 7000, or alittle more he says. DUH [Big Grin]
