Anyone shooting the 180gr Accubond from a 300H&H? I picked up a box of the Accubonds as they were the only 180gr bullets on the shelf at the local fun store. I have 5 pounds of RL-22 and a bunch of other powders that work well in magnum size cartridges. I looked at Nosler's website but it wouldn't hurt to hear some first hand experience.

That's all I shoot in my Sako .300 H&H. I use IMR7828SSC, but RL-22 should do just as well. I've taken a couple of whitetails and hogs with it, but it really shined on a one-shot kill on a cow elk at about 225 yards. My experience with Accubonds of various weights and calibers, which includes use in a couple of .30-06's, a .300 WBY, and a .338, has been very positive.

I don't see a listing for IMR 7828 on the Nosler website for the 180gr. I do have that powder and have used it in my 7mm Rem Mag.

H4831 SC to 70 grains. Works a treat for TSX, Woodleigh, etc. _______________________

Ive used them on elk and deer and on one safari when they first came out in my old mod-70. and a dose of H4831 or RL-22, they work as good as the partition as far as I can tell.. Today I use the 225 gr. Accubond in my .338 win. at 2913 fps with RL-19 or 17..as my go to elk rifle...Ive used them in most calibers and they just work, end of story....maybe a tad less penetration than the partition, but I wouldn't swear to it..
