I use alot of XMR-4350. All three 4350's are listed together on a burning rate chart, with XMR being the slowest. I would check Accurate's web site for load data because there is a significant difference between the Accurate and Lyman manuals i.e. for 7.62x54R, 180gr. Lyman lists IMR4350 max load at 55gr. while Accurate, using XMR4350 lists 51gr as max for the same bullet. The Accurate manual may be more conservative or, who knows?
As BEJ noted, the burn rates for the 4350's is similar, but not exactly the same. I would imagine the variation is about what you would experience with different lots of the same brand.
One big difference, as I'm sure you noticed, the H4350 has a lot shorter grains, which makes it much easier to meter and pack into cases in which it works well (7-08, for instance).
Also, the Accurate Arms stuff DOES seem to be more accurate (truth in advertising, for a change) than either H or IMR, at least in the loads I've tried (47.5/145 Speer HotCore in 7-08; 57.5/165 Rem C-L in 30-06); numerous groups of each.
Another big advantage is that Natchez Shooting Supplies has some really good bargains on XMR (I think the last I got was $70.00 for 8#). That never hurts.

The XMR 4350 I have been using seems to be a little faster than the IMR. Max loads are about 1.5 gr less with the XMR in my 30/06 target rifle. Regards, Bill.
Ditto on the burn rate of XMR. In larger capacity cases of around 75g, I use 1g LESS of XMR, than IMR, for similar velocity. Also use 1g less than H for a similar velocity. XMR is fastest, IMR next, and Hodgdon is the slowest.

I know this may seem like a stupid question, but can I use XMR4350 in the recipes calling for AA4350? I assume it is the same stuff, but you know what they say about the word a$$/u/me. The price is right and I am planning to buy 8# if I can use the AA4350 recipes that are in my manuals.
I live in Coushatta. It's about halfway between Natchitoches and Shreveport on Hwy 71. Thanks for the info, I wasn't 100% sure and didn't want to make any mistakes.
