I went to the range with the Kahles scope mounted and high hopes. I left feeling the same frustration that I had felt the other trips to the range with the other scope. It did not help at all, it shot the same disgusting way it had been. Im thinking about firing this rifle.

Whitey, The last resort would be to shoot some 150MKs, over 38grs. RE15, 9.5 primers, .010" off the lands, shoot them slowly as to not heat up the barrel. If that doesn't show any improvement, send er back to Weatherby.

In fact, I just may call them myself and see what can be done, afterall, you do have a 1000 dollar rifle there, should shoot under an inch, if not better. Kreiger barrel and all, what's up with that, Weatherby? Jay

Bearbuck: I'm with Jay on this one. I had really hoped that the different scope would do it. Send it back to Weatherby with a note about all of your trials and tribulations. That puppy should be drilling them right in there. As long as you are sending it back to them, it is not your fault a rifle of their's is not right, so make sure you don't get suckered on the shipping charges. That happened to me one time with a scope about eight years ago and I'm still pissed about it. Tom Purdom
