Would be interested to read some sources for loads on 25x45 Sharps. (.223 necked up to .257")

There's 9 loads on Load-Data under .25-45 Sharps. Any bullet in particular you are looking for? If you think every possible niche has been filled already, thank a wildcatter!

I'll take a look on Load Data, thanks Mile High. I plan on loading bullets in the 80-100 grain range.

I was going to recommend Donelly's book on cartridge conversions but seems like anything can be found online these days. Never mistake motion for action.

I have found some data but will probably use the same load I worked up for my 6x45, 85 grain Sierra and TAC powder. Was just hoping to see what else was "out there".

Snells: No experience with it but, I do have a like new reamer, cut one chamber. It's looking for a new owner. George "Gun Control is NOT about Guns' "It's about Control!!" Join the NRA today!" LM: NRA, DAV, George L. Dwight

George Thanks for the offer but won't need a reamer. The joy of AR15 projects are that I can swap barrels right here at home and no reamer necessary. If I build a bolt action rifle then I may need a reamer if my smith doesn't have one on hand. Did you build a 25x45?

Look for load data for the .250 Myra. Same cartridge...much older. Australian version, was created due to laws stating can't own military calibers, so I'm told.

Thanks Bill I did see that. Just trying to accumulate what I can the more info the better. I'm going to get started with TAC which burns like H335. Thanks everyone.
