Question for some of you Hunters. How many states allow hunting with FMJ's, in particular the flat and round nose. Noticed some of the heavier flat nose are comming out with full jackets. Would like to try in my lever gun. Phil My spelling sometimes sucks, letting the fingers get ahead of the brain. [This message has been edited by Greyghost (edited 02-21-2002).]

I just had a conversation with the chief of Montana Fish and Game, since there was another discussion along the same lines somewhere. I was informed that Montana has NO restrictions on caliber or bullet type. He even informed me that .22 rimfire is legal for hunting here! (And I'll guarantee you that there will be some idiot trying to drop a bear or elk with one...) ------------------

Ricciardelli, need to recheck but I don't think California allows solids, or FMJ's. But then again there's not much that California does allow. Phil
