Have tried a half dozen places to get the Nosler Manual #4, both locally and over the net. Everyone is out of stock. What's the deal? Anyone know a surefire, we got 'em , place to look?
Gentlemen, here's a little secret - If your wife starts giving you grief about too many books or too many guns, tell her she has too many shoes - that will be the last time you hear anything about too many of something! If she brings up the huge investment that you have in your guns, tell her it only costs $10 to get your hair cut. You can win every battle IF you have the correct ammunition.

PA wildcatter-first thing you do is go to the dump and fine some really ugly old lampshades. Stick them on the barrel end of the gun and walk in the house proudly (and loudly) proclaiming "Look Honey, I found this almost finished wonderful antique firearm lamp. With a little work I can have this baby shined up and sitting in the front room in no time." Note: ensure lampshade clashes with everything in your house. When your lovely spouse turns white at the mention of putting such an ugly piece of trash in her house, you can regretfully say, "Well, I'll just use it in the gunroom then." She'll be so relieved not to have to look at it, she'll just nod and say "Oh yes, dear. That's a MUCH better idea." And if you're handy with spray paint, you don't even have to buy that many lampshades. - Dan

I've ordered so much stuff from Midway,my dog don't even bark at the ups truck anymore.I just sneak my new guns in through the basement, wife keeps threating to buy all new living room furniture if I buy any more guns. I have bought 3 so far this winter she don't know about. I would sure hate to lose my old couch!

A friend of a friend got married a few years ago. His bride-to-be knew about his addiction, and asked him how many guns he had. Twenty-eight was the reply. She made some remark about her reaction to any increase. She probably got a "Yes, dear." What the hell - he only had six at the time, anyway.
